LeAndra Hartman

LeAndra Hartman has spent her entire career in the world of education starting at Lanark High School after her graduation from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. She holds a Masters in Curriculum Development. Retiring from Eastland School District (Lanark) in 2012, she quickly moved into the WACC-CEO facilitator position in 2013. She is proud to have been at the ground level as the Sauk Valley introduced CEO to this area and became one of the first classes to join the nationwide initiative. Now, over a decade later, WACC CEO has grown to two classes, accomodating more students. Along with the CEO board, Le is commited to growing and improving the program. Bringing education and business together is both challenging and rewarding. Beyond working with youth, LeAndra enjoys time her daughters and grandchildren, visiting family in Iowa and travel with friends. 


Emily Zimmerman

Emily Zimmerman

Emily Zimmerman is an Aurora University graduate with a Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration. After spending almost a decade in private accounting with various business industries throughout the Sauk Valley region, her career path led her to higher education. She is now a full-time business faculty member at Sauk Valley Community College in conjunction with being a CEO facilitator for the eastern part of the WACC CEO program. Her background in business and finance along with her passion for growing the minds of young adults has truly been a gift to her both personally and professionally. Emily was born and raised in Amboy and still lives there with her husband Luke, and two children Kaylee (9) and Clayton (7) in a farmhouse outside of town.
