It was a great day on Thursday for CEO students to experience the world of supply-chain at the Walmart Distribution Center. The visit was conducted by the team of Aaron, operations manager, Jim, AP operations manager, Greg, Assistant General Manager, and Joanna, People Partner. Experiencing the fulfillment of orders from dry food items, to cooler produce, cold products and FREEZER items was eye-opening and interesting...and COLD! The sheer volume of the square footage, number of trucks, and amount of products coming in and going out was amazing. Another enlightening business visit in Sauk Valley.
