Today was the last day for CEO West students to enjoy time at the newly remodeled Sterling Township Building. They talked with Township Supervisor Angie Schneider about their mission, which is to be committed to providing responsible, responsive, and effective services for our community. That mission is supported by offering community grants, assistance programs, and working with other organizations to have a community garden, a butterfly garden, and youth center, to name a few. Angie also shared her leadership journey to her current position, an elected seat. She encouraged students to not letting fear and worry keep you from going after your goals. The class learned more about the new youth center, Elevate, from Heather Waninger, who asked for their input on what was still needed. The new youth center was a great CEO home base for the month of March. Thank you!
