This week was crazy for me. With our event, my regional basketball games, and crazy amounts of schoolwork, it was a packed-full week. As far as our tour this week, it was really nice to tour Aaron's, because of the comfortable environment, as well as all of the neat information about franchises and the rent to own business. As you know, we lost our regional championship game, meaning the end to my career of organized basketball. It was really weird to have that feeling again, as I thought my basketball career was over two years ago when I was cut from my sophomore team. For our event, it was really hard for me to miss. I had no idea when I sold my family and friends tickets that I would not be able to attend due to basketball. It was a terrible feeling to have knowing there were people there just to support me, and I wouldn't even be there. It was tough having to choose between seeing the results of the hard work of my classmates, or my teammates. In the end I made the decision to go to the game, with my classmates reassuring me that I should. I can't wait to hear all the details from all of my classmates.

"The tour of the Walmart distribution center was amazing. The massive size and sophisticated processes were awesome, and I couldn't help but think about how smart these leaders have to be to keep it all going smoothly. Also, something that really struck me was hearing the stories of all of the important managers that just started off as Walmart employees. To me, it generally doesn't seem like that would be a natural career path, to go from being a walmart associate to a big time manager, but it really just shows how exceptional those guys must be to climb the ranks like that. As far as breakfast before business is concerned, I had a really good time listening to everyone speak, and hearing the sterling drum line because personally I didn't know they had such a big and talented group of drummers. I think our little speeches went well, everyone was pretty well rehearsed and I think it was well received. This week was a really good one. I felt every days was something new and exiting for the class."

"As far as CEO goes this week, I really liked the tour of the food bank. When I finally got there after struggling with directions, the first thing that struck me was how kind Carol was, and the second how hard working she was. The personal stories she told about her interactions with her family, and people who needed help were incredible, and her and Russ’ dedication to helping people in the community simply amazed me. I can’t wait to get involved later on with the food bank, the community Christmas santas is something I wouldn’t hesitate to step up to be the project manager for, if we were to need one."
