This man, Craig Lindvahl, changed my life. And I suspect that indirectly, through the CEO program, he has changed the lives of many young adults in the Sauk Valley Area. He was an innovative educator who cared deeply about others and their ability to successfully navigate life. What an inspiration! It was a privilege to sit across from him seven years ago as the CEO program launched nationwide and learn firsthand his vision for this entrepreneurship class. I remember the very first time I met him in Effingham. He picked me up at the hotel to visit his CEO class that morning. He walked across the lobby, opened his arms, and gave me a big hug. A complete stranger, I was soon chatting as if we were lifelong friends. It is one of several vivid memories with him I'm not likely to ever forget. As time went on and Craig became sick, he was unable to travel to WACC CEO class and we saw him less. Our students here know him only through video messages and yet, many have kindly reached out as they, too, feel the impact of this loss. Each summer trip to the CEO conference meant an opportunity to see Craig and his wife Beth, two of the nicest people I know. Please keep Beth in your thoughts and prayers.
