Dr. Tad Everett, superintendent of Sterling Public Schools, visited the east class to talk about his background and how he ended up being in an administrative role in education. The students paired up and looked at different articles on what was needed to be “successful.” While there were many similarities, there were also many differences. The point being, success is subjective. He left the students with characteristics he looks for when hiring, and the importance of knowing you will make mistakes, but it’s how you handle those mistakes is what matters most. He ended with a great quote worth sharing.

“The significance of what you do is more important than the success you have.”
