From August to April...here they are, the WACC CEO Class of 2025. We just completed the second night of the trade show, which included a few firsts. It was the first time all 34 students stayed helping each other until EVERYONE was cleaned up and Northland Mall was put back together! It was the first time we tore down and put away all booths in less than an hour; my phone had a time of 7:23; seven minutes to spare. It was the first time a WACC CEO facilitator had her last trade show....no tears, Emily! We will miss you!
We can't thank Northland Mall and Jama Ebenezer, Mall Manager enough for accommodating and supporting the students' efforts. They allowed flexible set up times, shared fixtures, and made sure we had what we needed. Parents, tough role for you...watching your child make decisions, offering support, backing off, stepping in, allowing them to own the outcome-not easy! Thank you.
Finally, WOW, the community support was incredible---thank you for showing up and believing in today's youth. This event was learning that success is measured in more ways than just $$$$. Personal growth, goals, new skills, and so much more. Sadly, we have only 11 days left of CEO 2025 and we plan to make the most of it!
