This morning we wrapped up our time together, and if I said any of this in person I wouldn’t have held it together, so here we go….

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of the 15 East students that made my last year as a CEO facilitator so rewarding. Being a part of not only your academic lives, but your personal lives is such a privilege. I’ve truly enjoyed watching you grow, not just in your knowledge of business, but in your confidence, creativity, and teamwork. You guys showed up, put in the work, and you brought your unique perspectives to every discussion and project. That kind of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

As you move forward, whether it’s to college, or your senior year in high school, I hope you take the skills and lessons from this class with you. Keep thinking critically, keep asking questions, and don’t be afraid to take smart risks.

A huge thank you to my bestie (aka much older sister) Margo for the support, kind words, and treats. And to Julie for the hilarious cake! 😂 Thank you mentors for making this a memorable last year for me. I hope to join you in the mentor gig next year!
