CEO students have the privilege of experiencing and learning things most do not and Thursday's IFH Group visit proved it once again. Did you know IFH Group makes tanks used in the fast foods industry to store grease which is picked up and recycled into jet fuel? However the majority of IFH sales is for trucks and other heavy equipment. (agriculture, refuse, government) Pat Murphy, Operations, and Nathan Dalhstrom, Plant Manager covered the process from flat steel to finished product; with newer robotics and even paint, with a variety of colors, including as many as 8 shades of just black! Safety and quality are of top priority, which leak and cleanliness testing. Two years in the making, a new paint and powder coating facility will soon be in use. Students hope for a spring visit to this state of art facility.
