West CEO students learned the ins and outs of operating the Whiteside County Senior Center from Executive Director Emily Hammer and Assistant Director Denise Garcia. The Senior Center offers a wide variety of programs and activities geared toward seniors, but also to serve the entire community. Members enjoy meals with friends, play games, exercise, learn, go on trips, and much more. The center is for everyone! Students finished the visit with some volunteerism and will be using the center as their "home base" for the month of November and December.
