CEO students spent time with Parker Valdez, CFO, The Boat House, and Carver Grummert, CEO Class of 2023. Carver gave insight to lessons learned while in CEO and beyond, which was especially useful as current students work on their class business. As a young business professional, Parker summarized some key lessons learned and used while navigating post high school. They include 1) being intentional about your "why", 2) always ask, a "no" simply means you haven't gained yet, 3) SHOW UP! 4) Everyone can lead; you can lead in all directions, all places and 5) Mentors open doors. Lots of questions from current students made for a great day!
