West CEO students spent time with Heather Sotelo, Economic Development Director for the Greater Sterling Development Corporation, and Krista Morthland, Director/Manager of the Kitchen Incubator. It is yet an other example for students to learn about the work of community members/organizations whose goals are to elevate our area. Developing the local economy includes businesses, of course, but also concerns with housing education, recreation, etc.; all part of a robust community. Students toured the Kitchen Incubator with an inside peak to plans for some major changes. This licensed, inspected, and fully equipped facility is used by many food entrepreneurs in the area and CEO food-based businesses for the trade show will have that opportunity too.
