Maggie Wike is president of NAMI Sauk Area and came to CEO West class on Tuesday to help students become better informed on mental health. The National Alliance for Mental Illness educates, supports and advocates for those living with mental health conditions and their families. Students learned about conditions, 988, stigma, emotions, etc. and evaluated their own mental health spectrum. They participated in movement (challenging for some of us!) aimed at helping to reduce anxiety. Being educated on this important topic was a great way to end our short week.
