🐷⛸️🥳🏒🤩Yesterday was A LOT of fun with a splash of education. CEO East and West got a behind the scenes tour of BMO Arena and the Rockford IceHogs operations before staying for the game. It is fun being in a space normally filled with thousands of people and it was just us. We discussed all things related to operations and the experience of those attending.
*The variety of jobs and manpower it takes for a minor league sport
*The work that happens in the broadcasting booth to pull of the visuals and sound effects that happen during the game (as well as the cost 🫣🫣🫣)
*Every detail it takes for a business on this scale to function from the season ticket holders, investors, players, broadcasting, parking, theme nights, social media, etc etc.
*And most importantly (and directly related to our Class Business Planning) that all things need to be planned and ready to the best of our ability knowing that we need to make adjustments necessary to make it a seamless experience for those attending.
Oh ya….we also celebrated Hammy’s birthday! We made him signs, brought party hats, sang happy birthday, and gave him a gift from CEO 🐷🎂🏒🥳🎉
