Astec Industries manufactures large crushers and screens used in the aggregate industry. West students toured the floor where 43 overhead cranes help move steel parts as they are fabricated into the final product. We watched a machine being operated remotely as it received finishing touches before it moves out the door. We appreciate Mat Pistole, General Manager, Lisa Eisenhower, Controller, Claudio Palmer, Plant Manager, Paul Forth, EHS Specialist, and Rhonda DeWhitte, HR for taking to to educate CEO students on their work they do.
