The 2026 West CEO Class completed their year celebrating with family and friends at the beautiful New Life Lutheran Church. Generally speaking I would call this class "quiet" by nature and wasn't quite sure what to expect with their closing remarks. Their growth in public speaking has been tremendous and Friday was no exception. Each spoke confidently, atriculated clearly, and created content that was informative, funny at times, and included personal perspectives. Excellent! Their kind words as I exit facilitating were so thoughtful and appreciated. Sweet kids, right there. :)
Leadership Traits Awards were selected by peers: Moral Compass-Samara Bielenberg, Reliability-Charles Nawrocki, and Self and Socially Aware-Paige LaShelle. Students selected for Determination,
Brady Berlin, Emmaline Burger, Trail Stonitsch, and Wyatt Carroll.
Scholarships: Edith Jakobs Scholarship-Haleigh Dale, Justin Wiggins Memorial Scholarship (sponsored by Sterling Woodworks)-Jonathan Podolski.
We also publicly announced our "give back" recipients: United Way of Whiteside County, the Kitchen Incubator of NW Illinois, and the Ronald Reagan Museum in Tampico.
This facilitator has offically signed off from her last class day. And wouldn't you know it, I sat back and didn't take a single picture! Here are a few from here and there. You can likely expect one final post in the near future as I say good-bye to a position I have loved. But for now, let's celebrate the CEO West Class of 2026. Le
