Yesterday, CEO West visited Rock River Lumber and Grain Co (Prophetstown location) to learn more about the many moving pieces of their business operation.

Students heard from team members across the grain and agronomy divisions about grain marketing, risk management, and the role relationships play in setting a business apart. They also learned how technology continues to change the industry and how adaptability has helped Rock River grow from coal to feed, grain, agronomy, and lumber over its long history.

Thank you to Mr. Justin Porter, Mr. Jim Cronin, Mr. Mike Glassburn, and Mr. Jake Smith for giving our young professionals a look into the agriculture industry!
