CEO West Update!

Last Thursday: Kim Purvis challenged our young professionals to think about what it means to truly listen to others. Students put active listening into practice in groups of three, rotating between speaking, listening, and observing. Student takeaways included how our body language, responses, and ability to stay engaged can shape a conversation and help others feel heard.

This Monday: Le Hartman guided our young professionals through their DISC profiles, and fostered conversations about self-awareness and group dynamics. Students were challenged to be vulnerable with their peers about areas where they want to improve while also recognizing and sharing the strengths they bring to the table.

Both guest speakers showed students that meaningful interactions require both understanding ourselves and understanding others.
