About My Business
My Featured Journal Entries
Every time I go home I always watch different videos on youtube such as vlogs, documentaries, reviews of certain items such as shoes, lifestyle, fashion and food related shows. I came across this one sneaker store owner from Virgina. His name is Sean Wotherspoon. He was born and raised in Virginia and was always passionate with shoes and making people happy. When he had the chance to do both things that he loved, he decided to open up Round Two, a sneaker and vintage store that caters the needs for street wear and sneaker enthusiast. His influence, especially on the youth was electrifying since he always had a positive mindset no matter what happens. His business flourished, so he moved to LA to open up a new store and set his ground in California. Few years after he opened his second Round Two store in LA, his influence and image drastically changed. He became more popular but always stayed humble no matter what. Last year, Nike gave the opportunity to 12 artist and influencers of the sneaker community to design a shoe and let the people vote for what they wanted, Sean was one of the influencers who participated and won the contest. The shoe he made was unique but also was very sentimental to him. Even the little details of the shoe was all influenced by his positive outlook and his life before and after he opened his store. Because of his success every year he just opened another Round Two store in New York making 3 stores in 3 different states. Now his shoes are coming out tomorrow and for all I know I'm going to try and buy them since I'm a sneaker enthusiast myself. Aside from all that, I am inspired by Sean Wotherspoon's drive, passion and dedication to do his best to reach his goals and be successful but at the same time still be humble and would always remember his roots.

Our field trip last Thursday was probably one of the best that I've been to. The places we went to, people we met and experiences we got from the trip was amazing. I thought that the bus ride would be a bit dull just because of what I got used to during field trips. People would just talk to the person they're sitting with, people would not care and would just listen to music or just sleep throughout the trip. Ours was different and I'm glad it was like that. Everybody knows that the back part of every bus is the "fun" side of it. Almost everybody there was talking to each other and we even played games. Le and Norm even got to play with us which was fun to see, even though a lot of us didn't know the songs they were singing. I remember when I talked about meeting the real Kurt on my last journal and I can assure you that I mean what I said. I slowly get to show everyone in the bus my fun side and I can also see that I speak up more in class. Even in our sociology class where every Friday we debate on certain societal topics. I saw that last Friday I spoke up more than I ever did during other debates, it also led to some issues during the debate with my friend and another classmate but hey, that was fun and that's what it all matters.
