Makenzie Glassburn

About Me

Makenzie Glassburn is a Senior at Prophetstown High School who is involved in many extracurricular activities. She has been an honor roll student throughout her high school career while taking many advanced and dual credit courses. She also holds leadership positions in both the National Honor Society and the FFA. She has been a three sport athlete throughout high school, participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball. Through the CEO program, Makenzie hopes to strengthen her communication skills, improve her leadership skills, and learn about the skills necessary to be successful in her future career pathway. In her free time, she is a very active individual. She competes on travel teams for basketball, volleyball and softball while also working part-time at a local flower shop/cafe in her hometown. She is a very hardworking individual that never settles for anything less than perfect. For a trade show business, she is very interested in selling energy drinks and flavored coffee. After high school, she plans to further her education at the University of Iowa to study speech and hearing sciences or occupational therapy.
