Sterling Woodworks, a partnership venture of Scott Hibbard and Corey Gabler, was the site of the CEO business visit on Wednesday. Today’s tour began with Corey Gabler while students enjoyed the beautiful custom cabinetry in the showroom. Don Koltoff joined the presentation and took students through the detailed operations side of constructing custom projects. Students learned about the painting process, expensive woodworking equipment, assembly, installment, and prioritizing safety throughout. The last stop was with the design team who help clients bring their project to life while focusing on function and aesthetics. For the 3rd year in a row, it is always a proud moment for facilitator Le Hartman to watch Don Koltoff, a former Eastland student of hers, share his knowledge and skill set. Which, of course, required an annual photo together!
